Baccarat features
The Increase and Decrease are used to adjust the size of your bet. The bet
size can only be changed between games.
Use the Player button to place your bet on the Player's hand.
Use the Banker button to place your bet on the Banker's hand.
Use the Tie button if you think a Tie will be dealt next.
Playing the game
Baccarat is played with a single standard deck of cards. Two hands of cards
are dealt, one for the Player and one for the Banker. Each hand will contain
either two or three cards. These cards are dealt according to a set of rules
that are the same wherever Baccarat is played.
The amount to be wagered on each game of Baccarat is displayed in the ‘Amount
Bet’ or ‘Bet’ box.
This amount may be adjusted by clicking on the 'Increase' or
'Decrease' buttons. These buttons will increment or decrement the amount
wagered.
Once the size of the wager has been determined you must decide which of three
possible bets
you wish to make before the cards are dealt. You can decide to bet
on the Banker’s hand winning, the Player’s hand winning or the possibility of a
Tie. Clicking on the appropriately labeled buttons to place these bets. Once the
bet has been placed the two hands will be dealt.
The winning hand will be the one whose value is closest to nine (9).
The value
of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the card. Aces have a value of
1. Face (picture) cards and tens (10s) have no value and do not contribute to
the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear i.e.
2=2, 3=3, 4=4 and so on.
If the value of a Baccarat hand exceeds 9 then the value of the hand is taken as
the "unit" portion of the total.
Thus, if a hand consists of an 8 of clubs and a
7 of diamonds the total for the hand would be 15. You would ignore the "tens"
portion of that total, giving you a value of 5.
Similarly if the total of the
cards were 20 you would ignore the 2 (tens portion) giving you a hand value of
0.
Once the winning hand is determined the game is over.
If the hand you backed won
you will be paid out according to the rules in the Payout Schedule section.
General rules
The player should take note of the following rules:
A 5% commission is taken when the player bets on a winning Banker's hand.
Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat.
A tie that the player did not bet on pays the player back his ante.
Payout schedule
Should the player have chosen the winning hand the
payout will made according to this table:
| The
Winning Hand |
The Payout |
| The Banker Wins |
Twice the bet -5%
commission on winnings for the House. |
| The Player Wins |
Twice the bet |
| A Tie Wins |
The player wins 8
times the bet. |
If the hand the player chose to back wins, the player is paid double his bet,
unless he bet on a tie in which case the payout is eight (8) times the amount he
bet. If the Player wins when backing the Banker’s hand the House charges a small
percentage. Should the player have backed a losing hand his ‘Ante’ is lost.
Should the hands be tied and the player has not bet on a Tie the player’s ‘Ante’
will be returned.
Baccarat Tips
This winning baccarat system tries to put three factors to good use:
1) In Baccarat each round of play results in a win. For either player or bank.
There is nothing similar to the 0 and 00 in Roulette to destroy a winning
system. Ties are standoffs, where neither bank nor player loses.
2) We have a unique situation in baccarat, where one side wins more often than
the other. The bank bet wins 50.68% of the time. Even though the house takes 5%
commission, it only takes this commission on winning banker bets, not losing
ones. So if you lose on a banker bet, you will not pay an additional vigorish.
3) Sometimes in baccarat the bank hand will win one round after another, and at
other times the player hand will do the same thing. The odds of the game,
however, favor the bank hand, and winning streaks tend to be longer and stronger
on the banker side.
So you'll use the bank bet as the basic wager and try to take advantage of
winning streaks.
It is a good idea to keep track of what's happening on a scorecard furnished
either by the house, or supplied by the player himself.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT BACCARAT
Baccarat is a game who's name is derived from the Italian word baccara, meaning
zero.
Baccara, refers to the zero value of the face cards and tens. Baccarat is
most popular in Europe,
where it is considered to be one of the more elegant
games to play.
Traditionally, Baccarat is played with no upper table limit, but
that has become quite rare in the past few years.
